• PPM has 15 molding machines ranging from 30 ton to 385 ton, including several all electric machines.
• As a short to medium run, precision injection molder with demanding oem customers, ppm has a dedicated team of experienced molding technicians, with complementary skills
• Quality and responsiveness through scheduling flexibility provides the oem customer with performance that almost always between 95%-100% on the customers’ monthly report cards. PPM management and the production team work diligently for continuous improvement in the injection molding department
• The “production traveler” system has recently been anhanced so that every job in house has a set of documented work instructions, including precise instructions for the operators, including digital color photographs of critical steps
• Although ppm management believes that quality begins with the operators, the PPM QA/QC department has a “roving” inspector that periodically checks jobs in process
• PPM personnel are capable of maintaining and do develop and work with spc and other control data
• PPM management works with the management of major oem accounts on a regularly scheduled basis to jointly identify operational improvement opportunities, through kaizen exercises, value stram mapping, design of experiments, and other techniques
